By VICTORIA CHURCHILL, US POLITICAL REPORTER Published: 14:15, 10 June 2026 | Updated: 14:25, 10 June 2026 Bill Gates was all smiles as he arrived on Capitol Hill Wednesday to be grilled on his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.  Gates was summoned to an interview with the House Oversight Committee after photos and emails released in the Epstein files showed new depths to his relationship with the pedophile financier. Epstein in one email alleged that Gates planned to slip his wife Melinda, an antibiotic to combat a sexually transmitted disease he contracted from 'Russian girls.' Gates' marriage to Melinda collapsed in 2021, with the billionaire Microsoft founder's Epstein relationship a contributing factor. Melinda, who was married to Gates for 27 years, said of Epstein after their divorce: 'He was abhorrent. He was evil personified. My heart breaks for these women' The release also included multiple new, undated images of Epstein and Gates together in various locations.
