In an advisory, the airline confirmed that these two services will remain suspended during this period - SQ494 departing Singapore for Dubai and SQ495 departing Dubai for Singapore. The carrier said the situation remains fluid, warning that additional flights across its network could also be impacted. Singapore Airlines urged passengers to stay updated on their flight status, as conditions in the region continue to change. “As the situation remains fluid, other SIA flights may be affected. Customers may visit SIA’s Flight Status page for the latest information on their flights,” the airline said. The extension comes amid ongoing airspace disruptions and operational challenges faced by airlines flying through or near the Middle East. Passengers affected by the cancellations will be offered alternative travel arrangements or refunds. “Customers affected by the flight cancellations will be reaccommodated on alternative flights or can seek a full refund of the unused portion of their ticket,” the airline said. Multiple regional and international airlines continue to face operational disruptions across the Middle East. UAE and GCC carriers, including Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, and Air Arabia, are operating unscheduled flights within safe air corridors. Elsewhere in the region, Qatar Airways flights also remain suspended, but the airline said it is gradually increasing the number of flights to and from Doha, and plans to reach more than 120 destinations “by mid-May”.
