A cremation provider has vowed to ease the burden on families at the end of life with a simple and transparent service.

Simplicity Cremations, which is owned by one of Britain's largest funeral providers, Dignity Funerals Ltd, keeps its crematoria local and operates across 45 modern facilities in England and Scotland.

Zack Sullivan, managing director at Simplicity Cremations, revealed the service takes care of all the essential arrangements and looks to provide family members with much-needed transparency.

He told GB News: "A Simplicity funeral plan ensures that we have the cremation and then the return of the ashes to the family who can then make their own arrangements for a celebration of life service that better reflects their own wishes."

Simplicity Cremations's low-cost funeral plan costs £1,799, making it up to £296 cheaper than other leading direct cremation providers*.

The company also prides itself in not including any hidden fees, instead choosing to be upfront about its prices.

"It's a direct cremation and that means that when the time comes you're able to make a call to one of our team and they ensure the collection, care, and cremation of the individual and then the return of the ashes to the family," Mr Sullivan said.

Comparing the service to others, Mr Sullivan added: "A traditional funeral often includes a lot of extras that can add complexity and inevitably cost.

"Those are things like a ceremony at a crematoria, hearses, and limousines."

Mr Sullivan also suggested Britons are turning to Simplicity Cremations due to the personalisation it offers.
