The Epiphone EJ-200 was played by Gallagher whilst the Manchester band recorded their second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory.The 1995 album, which has sold more than 22 million copies, also included songs Don't Look Back in Anger and Some Might Say.The guitar had been estimated to sell for $80,000 (£59,500) when it went under the hammer at Sotheby's.Jordan Pettitt/PA WireOasis returned to the stage in 2025 for a long awaited reunion tourMeanwhile, a handwritten lyric sheet for Don't Look Back in Anger was sold for $38,400 (£28,513).
