Leicester's Mattioli Arena played host to a double-header of Women's Series action, with Ashton and Sherrock celebrating success in Event 17 and 18.
Ashton stormed to the Event 17 crown, breezing to the last 16 with a trio of whitewash victories, before conceding just a solitary leg against Lauren Hall to reach the quarter-finals.

The Lancaster-based arrowsmith then saw off Grace Ferridge 5-1, although she faced a stern test against Gemma Hayter in the semi-finals, edging through a last-leg decider to reach the showpiece.
Nevertheless, the 2025 Women's World Matchplay champion swept aside Lauryn Salter with ease, triumphing 5-0 to lift her third Women's Series title of 2026.
Although Salter fell short, she broke new ground by competing in her first final on the Women's Series after previously reaching the semi-finals at Event 12 earlier in the year.
Salter accounted for Emma Pearce and Jade Gofford in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively, shooting up to 16th in the Women's Series rankings as a result of her groundbreaking run to the final.
In Event 18, Sherrock denied Ashton a second title of the day with a rampant 5-0 win in the final to scoop her first Women's Series title in over 16 months.
After conceding just one leg in defeating Hollie McKain and Julie Whitehouse, the 32-year-old saw off Jody Hancock with a 93 average before easing past Leanne Topper to reach the last eight.
The 2022 Women's World Matchplay winner dispatched Aoife McCormack 5-0 before battling past Hayter 5-3 in the last four to reach her fourth final of the year.
In a rematch of July's Women's World Matchplay semi-final, Sherrock locked horns with Ashton, replicating the result courtesy of a 5-0 victory to take home her first title on the circuit in 2026.
Beau Greaves - absent from Saturday's action - remains on top of the Women's Series rankings, with Ashton and Sherrock bolstering their positions in second and third respectively.
The top three players from the final PDC Women's Series rankings will qualify to compete in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, with the top-ranked player also qualifying for the 2026 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts.
