Providing details of the bust, Crime Branch officer Sanjay Lokhande said police received secret intelligence regarding MD drugs being sold via Snapchat, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms. Acting on the tip-off, the Kashimira Police laid a trap using a decoy customer. During the sting, a suspect identified as Kasif was called near Thakur Mall at Dahisar Check Naka for a delivery of 28 grams of MD drugs. Police took Kasif into custody, and during his interrogation, the name of Rohullah Mehndi surfaced. Following the revelation, a police team tracked down Rohullah Mehndi and arrested him from outside a shooting studio in Malad. According to officials, Mehndi originally hails from the Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir and currently resides in Goregaon.
