For almost two decades, Yekaterina Chudnovsky was the silent shadow behind one of the world's most secretive billionaires, Leo Radvinsky – a man so publicity shy that only a few photographs of him exist online. Now Radvinsky is dead and Chudnovsky, his equally elusive 42-year-old widow, has found herself in control of his estimated $4.7 billion empire. The Miami-based mother of five has inherited her late husband's 75 percent stake in OnlyFans, the platform he built into a multibillion-dollar adult entertainment juggernaut that boosted the careers of scores of influencers, including Michigan content creator Anthony Dawson - better known as TooTurntTony - and Florida-based Sophie Rain. But Chudnovsky – who goes by 'Katie' – isn't the madam one might expect of the owner of the planet's largest porn platform and one of the richest women in America. Those who know her told the Daily Mail that the Chicago-raised lawyer is down-to-earth and family focused, more likely to talk about the medical causes she champions or what her kids are up to than about the millions of porn providers her company hosts. 'She keeps things light and centered around kids — camp, sports, their activities,' said a mom from the school some of Chudnovsky's children have attended in South Florida. In the wake of her husband's death at age 43 in March, Chudnovsky and her kids – ranging in age from approximately 16 to four years old – have kept a low-profile in their palatial $19 million digs.  The 6,000sq ft duplex sits at the top of Miami's Turnberry Ocean Club, a 52-story oceanfront high-rise that was completed in 2020, two years after Radvinsky bought into OnlyFans. One resident of the building described the family as 'very private' and security conscious, with a near-constant cadre of guards around them. Another told us that Chudnovsky spent the years before her husband's death overseeing medical care for his constellation of undisclosed medical issues, including cancer, which her father described to the Daily Mail in March as 'extremely complex.' The couple met as undergraduates at Northwestern University and married in 2018, the year Chudnovsky graduated from Chicago's DePaul University law school. Chudnovsky, who was born in the former Soviet Union and moved with her parents to the US at age five, went on to work as a lawyer specializing in bankruptcy, family law, real estate transactions and local real estate tax issues, and then as legal counsel for a tech company. Her philanthropic work has centered heavily on cancer research, particularly gastrointestinal and rare cancers – a focus that predates her husband's cancer diagnosis by many years. In one of his rare public appearances, Radvinsky, who, unlike some influencers, never turned his diagnosis into a media campaign, accompanied his wife to a 2024 gala for a foundation to which the couple supported a $23 million cancer‑research grant program. 'Because of the scientists behind the research we are funding, one miracle followed another. The advances will forever change the face of cancer treatment. And Leo's here tonight proving that science and miracles go hand in hand,' Chudnovsky was quoted as saying at the time. The foundation's YouTube account later removed its video of that event, though it wasn't immediately clear why. Chudnovsky has also served on the board of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and as head of special projects at the Rare Cancer Research Foundation. And she has sat on the boards of Immix Biopharma, Elicio Therapeutics and XCures – companies working on oncology treatments and cancer care. Despite her trove of philanthropic efforts, a source close to the couple previously told Forbes that Chudnovsky was, in fact, her husband's 'de facto business partner.' Still, she has been noticeably quiet about her new stake in her late spouse's business venture.  The silence signals a potential sense of embarrassment, according to Gail Dines, professor emerita of sociology and women's studies at Wheelock College in Boston.  'How humiliating for her and the family. You don't exactly go to a dinner party and talk about how you're making billions off people sticking two penises up a woman's a**,' she said.  'I have no doubt that the shame of OnlyFans and the legacy of their father will follow those kids.'  The reclusive OnlyFans founder built the platform into a multibillion-dollar adult entertainment juggernaut that boosted the careers of scores of influencers, including Michigan content creator Anthony Dawson - better known as TooTurntTony While OnlyFans star Lily Phillips built her fame on headline-grabbing sex stunts, Chudnovsky - who now controls the site - has never posed for a photo spread Dines, who campaigns against pornography through her nonprofit, Culture Reframed, is among those calling on Chudnovsky to shut down the platform in the wake of her husband's death.   'I'd like her to close it completely, not sell it and give all the money she's made, billions, to people hurt by the sexual industry,' Dines said. 'For all the damage her husband did, she owes it to the women and children impacted.' Some feminists are curious, meanwhile, if Chudnovsky's ownership might move the company in a more progressive direction.  'I'd like to think that a woman owner might make the platform better serve and protect the workers it profits from, but that won't necessarily be the case,' said Angela Jones, professor of women, gender and sexuality studies at Stony Brook University.  'There's a lot of stigma around sexuality broadly and sex industries specifically. Because of that stigma, it doesn't surprise me that people who own these corporations distance themselves from these companies as they keep making fortunes from them.'  Even so, some porn and tech industry experts we spoke with all said they doubt Chudnovsky, who holds the power to appoint and remove the majority of the parent company, Fenix International's board, has much to do with the platform's daily operations.  By several accounts, her husband had a lifelong insistence on extreme confidentiality among family members and employees. OnlyFans have catapulted scores of names into stardom due to racy sex stunts, including the likes of Bonnie Blue Some of his workers at OnlyFans told us they never met the reclusive tycoon, interacting with him only through messages sent under the handle 'AdminLeo.' 'He militantly didn't want anyone to see him, know much about him, including how many kids he had. It's a condition of working there,' a former employee told us. 'He definitely didn't want anyone feeling sorry for him. And, until the end, I guess he managed to keep things that way.' Radvinsky's aversion to being in the public eye prompted his company to conceal news of his death from what it called 'a long battle with cancer' for at least three days in March. Chudnovsky has since remained as invisible as her late husband, honoring his wishes to shield the family's personal lives from public attention. There are as few public photos of her as of him. 'She is a person who misses her husband. But she's okay. She's okay. She's a very strong person. It will take some time just to recover. But I don't think she would recover completely,' her father Mikhail Chudnovsky told the Daily Mail in March. 'It's not fair. It's terrible. But life goes on.' When reached this week, he said: 'I am not giving any information about family.' 'She's a lawyer, she's not going to talk to you,' her mother, Marina, added. The Daily Mail reached out to Chudnovsky and OnlyFans, but neither responded to our inquiries about her majority stake in the platform and her plans for it going forward.
