Screaming Ford driver caught on camera whacking man's truck in road rage outburst as cops try and track him down

By JAMES GORDON, US NEWS REPORTER Published: 07:07, 3 June 2026 | Updated: 07:08, 3 June 2026 A furious SUV driver was caught on camera hammering on another motorist's truck and screaming through the window in a shocking road-rage confrontation that police are hoping the public can help solve. Investigators in Kennesaw, Georgia, north of Atlanta, have released video from the May incident showing a bearded man climbing out of a gray Ford Edge at a busy intersection before marching toward another vehicle and then repeatedly striking the driver's door. Police say the outburst unfolded after a dispute over driving speed escalated into a confrontation in the middle of traffic. The Kennesaw Police Department is now asking for assistance identifying the man seen in the footage. According to investigators, the incident occurred at approximately 4:10pm on May 7 near the intersection of North Main Street and Jiles Road. Authorities say that both drivers were traveling north on Main Street and driving at the posted 25mph speed limit when trouble began. Police say the impatient driver eventually passed the victim's vehicle, but the encounter was far from over. When both vehicles reached a red light, the driver of the Ford, which did not have a license plate, got out of his SUV and walked back toward the vehicle he had just overtaken. Video then shows the man approaching the driver's side door, shouting before hitting the driver's door with his hands. Authorities say the victim's vehicle sustained damage during the confrontation. The suspect could not contain his anger. He is described as a bearded man wearing a blue Under Armour shirt, dark sweatpants with white side stripes and  black Detroit Tigers cap Kennesaw Police released video of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes him to come forward with information. The incident happened directly in front of The Local Doe coffee shop, where owner Breanna Irwin said the footage was deeply unsettling. 'I think it's terrifying that someone could get that raged up, that worked up, and get out of his car,' Irwin said to Fox 5. No comments have so far been submitted.
