My planned trip to Somerset for their doubleheader with Portland, which would have gotten me 14 innings of both Franklin Arias and George Lombard Jr. — the top prospects for the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, respectively — didn’t quite pan out, as the Yankees promoted Lombard to Triple A on Tuesday night.
