The developer of the Tyen (Shadow) drone detectors has unveiled a tactical network that helps mobile air defense teams respond to drone attacks in real time. "The system helps coordinate the actions of mobile air defense teams. Each pickup collects local data from a portable drone detector, from neighboring mobile teams, ground infrastructure, and satellite channels. Comparing this data allows us to obtain the coordinates, altitude, and flight direction of enemy drones in real time," the company told TASS. It noted that mobile fire teams operating in the field primarily transmit visual monitoring data on Ukrainian drones via radio, which can sometimes lag in communicating threats. "A drone can be shot down, but a neighboring group will only learn about it after the fact," the developer company said. The main advantage is that the system operates without the internet or an external control center; the nodes directly support each other. It has a built-in AI module for predictive analysis of drone trajectories. "If network connectivity is temporarily lost, a node continues to operate locally and then synchronizes. Each pickup truck in this case acts as an autonomous node," the company noted. The system has undergone field trials in real conditions of drone attacks. The company is in talks with defense agencies on equipping mobile air defense teams with the system.
