Russian business showing higher interest in projects in Abkhazia — minister
SUKHUM, April 3. /TASS/. The interest of Russian business in creating and developing investment projects in Abkhazia is on the rise, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said at the plenary session of the international economic forum underway in the capital of Abkhazia. "Our long-term active cooperation is now progressing to the period of visible results and practical steps. This explains growing interest of our business, our regions and development institutions. The scale of the Russian delegation [at the forum] also evidences we are ready to move ahead and our colleagues see the specific practical interest in that," the minister said. Such interest is based on significantly increased indicators of the socioeconomic development program of Abkhazia of the previous stage, Reshetnikov noted. "The Abkhazian economy grew threefold over the last five years, and own income - by 2.7 times, " he added, highlighting improvement of the business climate.المصدر: TASS | Source: TASS
