In 2025, Russia obtained export clearance for 72 types of agricultural products in 22 countries, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev announced at the year-end board meeting of Rosselkhoznadzor (the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance). "Efforts to create new opportunities for increasing supplies are ongoing. Taking all product groups into account, in 2025, [export] access was granted to another 22 countries for 72 types of agricultural products," he said. Patrushev noted that the Chinese market offers significant prospects for Russian companies. In 2025, the total number of enterprises approved by China to export Russian goods increased. Furthermore, the list of plant-based raw materials supplied to the PRC expanded 3.5-fold, the Deputy Prime Minister added. Last year also saw the opening of the Philippines and Malaysia to Russian meat products. In total, over 1.2 million tons of meat and dairy products were shipped abroad, Patrushev concluded.
