Roma worry Wesley injury is worse than at first thought
Roma are increasingly concerned that the injury Wesley sustained on international duty with Brazil could be serious, while Zeki Celik’s condition is more reassuring.
The Giallorossi were already struggling with an injury crisis going into the break for international duty, but with a huge game against leaders Inter coming up, the situation has deteriorated further.
Roma crisis intensifies with Wesley blow

Wesley had started in Brazil’s friendly defeat to France, but was sent home early with a muscular injury in his right thigh.
More tests are required for a clearer picture, but the Corriere dello Sport warns the wing-back will certainly miss the Inter clash, and could be out for a while longer too.
There are reports of a lesion to the thigh muscle, which would mean several weeks on the treatment table.
It’d be particularly poor timing, because Wesley risks missing Roma’s big matches against Atalanta and Bologna, which could be decisive for Champions League qualification.
Meanwhile, Celik pulled out of Turkiye’s match against Romania, but tests showed no lesions, so he is already back in training ahead of the World Cup play-off final with Kosovo.
