Robert Jenrick addresses Restore Britain as rival to Reform

Robert Jenrick has addressed the threat of Restore Britain as a potential rival to Reform.

Speaking to Camilla Tominey, the Reform Economics Spokesman also ruled out doing deals with Kemi Badenoch’s Conservatives.

Camilla asked: “How worried are you about Restore?”

“Not at all,” Mr Jenrick shot back.

“Well, you should be,” Camila returned, saying the party could “kibosh your chances of majority” in a future General Election.

“Maybe people are voting for other parties, not Reform. But the only way to get rid of Labour is to rally behind Nigel Farage,” he responsed.

Probing further, the GB News host said: ”When you've got the Greens on the rise and you've still got your old friends in the Tories. They (Restore) can't be dismissed, can they?

”At some point, if you cannot form a majority. You're going to have to imagine you're the peace broker. You're going to have to knock on Kemi Badenoch’s door and try to do a deal.”

“The reason I chose to rally behind Nigel was that it was abundantly clear to me that the only political party with a viable route to win the next general election and save us from that fate of some insane coalition (of the left),” Mr Jenrick insisted.

To that end, he ruled out a pact with the Tories as "Westminster parlour games".
