Alexandra Whyte has told GB News about a fundraiser she is participating in in memory of her late sister.
Rhiannon Whyte was stabbed 23 times with a screwdriver during a shocking 90-second attack in 2024.
Asylum seeker Deng Majek was jailed for life for murdering Ms Whyte after following the 27-year-old to Bescot Stadium railway station in Walsall.
Alexandra Whyte will honour her sister’s memory by taking part in a remarkable charity endeavour.
She will join the father of a 14-year-old who was sexually assaulted by a migrant at a hotel in Epping, as well as campaigner Abbie Johnson, to climb Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
Speaking to Dawn Neesom on GB News, Ms Whyte said: “We could have been one of those families who let it consume us, and we could have hid in the shadows.
“But instead, we just didn't want reality to become a memory. We wanted her to stay relevant. We want to live our lives for her and leave a legacy for Rhiannon and her little boy.”
