Restore leader offers Reform pact to unite 'the patriotic Right': But only if they ban burka, hold referendum on death penalty and sideline Tory defectors

Mr Lowe, whose hard-Right party proved a major thorn in Reform's side at the Makerfield by-election, said the two parties could find a 'common way forward' provided Mr Farage agreed to certain terms. The Great Yarmouth MP was expelled from Reform in March 2025 amid accusations of bullying staff and party officials, which he denies. In a social media video yesterday, Mr Lowe called on the pair to put aside 'personalities' and 'past disagreements'. He outlined five key points Mr Farage would have to agree to, starting with mass deportations of both illegal and legal migrants who live off welfare or fail to integrate. Second, he said Reform must commit to 'reversing the Islamification of Britain', and preventing the forecast that white people will become a minority by 2063. Reform would have to ban the burqa, halal and kosher slaughter and cousin marriage. Third, he called for a referendum on reintroducing the death penalty. Fourth, he demanded deep cuts to welfare to make the UK 'self-sufficient' and, fifth, to restore faith in politics, with former Conservative ministers such as Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman to be excluded from any Reform-Restore cabinet. In a video posted on X, Mr Lowe said if Mr Farage was prepared to engage with 'serious policies, serious reform, and serious government, then so are we'. He added: 'Millions of British people deserve a patriotic government. Now is the time to put our differences aside and co-operate for the good of the country we all love.' While many on the Right would like to stop Restore Britain splitting the vote, last night Mr Farage appeared to reject Mr Lowe's offer. 'Patriotic voters believe in many of the same things, but only one party truly has the possibility of delivering change. My previous history in politics has also shown that I am always prepared to put country before party. But I will never turn my back on my team. 'I will continue to do whatever is necessary to defeat the Left and provide Britain with the strong, serious leadership it deserves.' A source close to Mr Farage confirmed that no deal is being offered to Mr Lowe.
