Report Muharemovic first choice for Inter with 30m price tag
Inter are in talks for Sassuolo and Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Tarik Muharemovic, claims Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, also linked with Manchester United, Tottenham and RB Leipzig.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri need to revamp their defence next season, as veterans like Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij are set to leave, with Alessandro Bastoni heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.
Ironically, it is one of the players responsible for Bastoni’s Italy malaise who is their primary target, as pundit Pedullà claims Bosnia and Herzegovina centre-back Muharemovic is first choice.

The asking price would be around €30m, but half of that would go to his former club Juventus, who retain a 50 per cent cut of the sell-on fee.
The 23-year-old first came to Italy for the Juventus youth academy in 2021 and made his mark with the Next Gen team, earning a move to Sassuolo in 2024.
The sale fee was only €2m because Juve knew they would profit far more from a big sale in future and that would seem to be happening this summer.

Inter face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and RB Leipzig.
He would be considerably cheaper than the other option, which is Riccardo Calafiori from Arsenal, who’d be at least €50m.
Beppe Marotta is a specialist at laying the groundwork for moves early, so is already pushing hard with negotiations behind the scenes.
