Learn more.The new Reolink OMVI series goes liveReolinkReolink’s ever-expanding smart security camera lineup has been boosted with the launch of the triple lens cameras that were teased back in January at CES, boasting full-coverage monitoring, AI tracking and some of the most unusual camera designs you will probably see mounted on a wall this year.The OMVI range is made up of three models: the OMVI 3i WiFi, the OMVI 3i PoE, and the flagship OMVI X16 PoE. Across all the new Reolink models, there’s a pretty unique setup that combines a dual-lens panoramic camera with a separate pan-tilt tracking lens, effectively giving each device three lenses working together.That triple lens setup is what drives the 360-degree coverage; the upper dual-lens system handles the wide panoramic view, while the lower pan-tilt module actively follows movement. When something triggers the system, Reolink’s SyncTrack tech kicks in, allowing the pan-tilt lens to lock onto moving people, pets, or vehicles detected by the panoramic feed and follow them smoothly across the scene. There is also an Auto Framing feature that zooms in and keeps subjects centred as they move, which is aimed at reducing the usual lost-in-frame problem you get with static cameras.The two fixed lenses sit up top like a pair of eyes, while the larger circular pan-tilt module sits underneath, giving the whole thing a slightly robot-like look that is clearly intentional.The OMVI 3i models sit in the middle of the range and come in both WiFi and PoE variants.
