Officers are at the scene at Aberdulais Road in Gabalfa, where crime scene investigations are ongoing. South Wales Police has been approached for more information on the nature of the incident. Two separate cordons are in place in the area, according to eyewitnesses. A property on Aberdulais Road appears to have been taped off, along with Aberdulais Crescent. Officers have been seen placing yellow evidence markers on the ground. Lucy JohnToday12:11 BSTPolice given more powers in the area On Tuesday, police were given tougher powers to crack down on anti social behaviour in the Galbalfa area. A Section 35 order was authorised by South Wales Police following increased reports of anti-social behaviour in the area. The order covers the Gabalfa area, including Gabalfa Avenue, Aberporth Road, Waterston Road and Cathedral View. It came into force at 4pm on Tuesday and will remain in place for two days. Under Section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, officers can direct people causing, or likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to leave a designated area. On one side of Aberdulais Road a property appears to be taped off and there is a Scientific Investigation van parked outside it. On the opposite side of the road, Aberdulais Crescent is also taped off. People are still able to go up and down Aberdulais Road but they can’t enter Aberdulais Crescent.
