The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for the affected candidates on September 1. According to the NTA, the power failure prevented 49 candidates from completing the computer-based test. While the examination was completed for 35,788 candidates, the 49 candidates at the Jaipur centre could not finish their papers because of the power failure. Reports from the centre also indicated further disruption during the second shift. The power supply reportedly remained unavailable, affecting the conduct of the online examination for candidates scheduled to appear later in the day. Candidates for the second shift were scheduled to enter the centre between 1 pm and 2.30 pm, but reports said many remained waiting outside even after 3 pm.
