The WTCS represents the flagship elite series of World Triathlon, with the world's best triathletes competing at iconic venues including the ExCeL London.A further three races are planned for the season, which culminates with the finals in Pontevedra, Spain, in September.Can Yee and Potter get back to winning ways?Image source, British TriathlonImage caption, Alex Yee made his marathon debut in London in 2025Potter will be among the favourites to win on British soil, despite missing June's Quiberon race in France because of altitude training and finishing sixth in the previous meeting in Hamburg.The Glaswegian, who claimed bronze in the Paris 2024 Olympics, won the season opener in Uzbekistan and came second in both the Japan and Sardinia races.Since delivering one of the standout moments of the Paris Games, Yee has experimented with marathon running – making his debut in the London 2025 race and then achieving the second-fastest time by a Briton in Valencia 2025, running 2:06:38.The 28-year-old began his transition back to triathlon in Yokohama where he finished fifth.
