Polish streamer Latwogang raises $70 million for cancer in historic livestream
ALBAWABA - Polish streamer "Latwogang" recently went viral after raising $70 million for a cancer foundation during a record-breaking nine-day livestream.
According to Reuters, the nine-day livestream hosted by Piotr Hancke (also known as Latwogang) was broadcast from a small apartment in Warsaw. Additionally, it was promoted by several popular celebrities, including musicians and sports stars such as Grand Slam champion tennis player Iga Swiatek and Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski. The celebrities' support helped raise funds further.
The report adds that the streamer broke a Guinness World Record by raising $70 million for the Cancer Fighters Foundation, beating an event in France in 2025 that raised $19.5 million.

Latwogang's stream was followed by a song by rapper Bedoes featuring a young cancer patient to celebrate the historic milestone. The YouTuber promised that he would listen to Bedoes' track "Ciągle tutaj jestem (diss na raka)", which translates to "I'm Still Here (a diss track against cancer)" for nine consecutive days nonstop.
The historic livestream caught the attention of many popular content creators, including YouTuber MrBeast, who wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Love when people use their platform for good :)."
Another user wrote, "We need more streamers like this and less streamers like 'Clavicular' and 'Rakai.'"
