A dispatcher is heard in radio clips stating: "Not funny" upon the realisation the reports were a hoax.‌But Oklahoma City Police Department has placed a number of officers thought to have been involved on leave. It hasn't stated the exact number of individuals but the probe into the behaviour continues.‌Oklahoma City Police Captain Valerie Littlejohn said: "We are aware of a reported pursuit involving some of our officers that included serious claims, which has since been determined to be false.
