A police incident has completely shut off a popular Welsh beauty spot in Flintshire . Bwlch Pen Barras, leading to Moel Famau, is closed following reports of a concern for welfare. North Wales Police is asking members of the public to avoid the area as the incident is expected to remain ongoing for some time. Moel Famau is the highest hill in the Clwydian Range and the highest point in Flintshire. The hill, which also gives its name to the Moel Famau country park, has been classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1985. Police have shut off the car park and the road leading up to the car park. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Coed Moel Famau car park and the road from Tafarn Y Gelyn up to Moel Famau is closed due to an ongoing police incident and will remain closed for the foreseeable.
