The meeting discussed the country’s political situation and other important matters. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was also present during the meeting. Meanwhile, an important meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is scheduled to take place at Jati Umra shortly, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, party president Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and other senior party leaders expected to attend.  According to sources, the meeting will include final consultations over the nomination of the next prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Sources said a decision is expected between Shah Ghulam Qadir and Tariq Farooq, with the party leadership likely to finalise one of the two names during the meeting. The meeting reviewed the country’s overall political and economic situation.
