önemli temsilcilerinden biri olmak için 2021 yılında çalışmalara başladıklarını söyledi. Uydu tabanlı nesnelerin interneti (IoT) haberleşmesi ana odağıyla projeler geliştirdiklerini belirten Gümüşay, Plan-S'in yüzde 100 iştiraki Connecta tarafından sağlanan Yakın Dünya Yörüngesi (LEO) uydu IoT haberleşme hizmetini müşterilerine sunduklarını anlattı. Gümüşay, Plan-S olarak artık daha büyük uydularla yola devam ettiklerine dikkati çekerek, "Bu doğrultuda 70-80 kiloluk ilk yeryüzü gözlem uydumuzu yaptık. Burada amacımız, platform boyutlarını 300 kilogram ağırlığına kadar büyütüp savunma sanayisi, yeryüzü gözlem ve sivil amaçlı birçok uygulamada yeni uydu platform çözümleri sunmak. Şu anda dünyada büyük bir talep görüyoruz. Özellikle son dönemde yaşanan bölgesel savaşlar bunda etkili oldu. Bu talebi karşılamak için biz de uydu platformu ve platform alt sistem çözümleriyle devam ediyoruz. 2026 sonuna kadar hedefimiz bu uyduyu göndermek. Önümüzdeki yıl için planlamalar devam ediyor. IoT tarafında ise şimdiye kadar 21 uydu gönderdik, burada da 2035'e kadar hedefimiz sayıyı 100'ün üzerine çıkarmak." dedi. Türkiye'de sağlam bir uzay ekosisteminin geliştiğini vurgulayan Gümüşay, büyük savunma sanayisi şirketlerinin de artık bu sektöre girmeye başladığını dile getirdi. Gümüşay, sektörde daha maliyet etkin ve seri üretime uygun uydu platformu çözümleri sunduklarına işaret ederek, şöyle konuştu: "Türkiye'de yapılan uydular daha büyük ve misyon spesifik uydular. Başka bir göreve adapte edilmeleri zaman alıyor. Normalde uzay projelerinin başka projelere adapte edilmesi minimum 4-5 yıl sürüyor. Bizim amacımız, jenerik yani standartlaşmış uydu platformlarıyla yeni görevlere fikirden yörüngeye toplamda 1 yılın altında adaptasyon çözümleri sağlamak. Plan-S olarak biz bu standartlaştırılmış uydu platformlarıyla özellikle yurt içinde savunma sanayisinin ihtiyaç duyduğu uydu programlarına hızlı ve maliyet etkin çözüm sunmak istiyoruz." Plan-S'in halihazırdaki uydularıyla IoT haberleşmesi üzerinden hizmet sağladıklarını ifade eden Gümüşay, karadaki birçok cihazın, özellikle GSM kapsama alanı dışında olduğu noktalarda kendilerinin devreye girdiğini kaydetti. Gümüşay, bu kapsamda imzaladıkları anlaşmayla Türk Telekom'un Connecta tarafından sağlanan hizmeti ürün portföyüne dahil ettiğini belirterek, şu bilgiyi verdi: "Cep telefonu yerine IoT cihazını koyduğunuz bir senaryo düşünün. Kırsalda özellikle GSM kapsamasının geniş olmadığı noktada IoT cihazlarının verisini okuyoruz. Şu anda özellikle elektrik dağıtım şirketleriyle yoğun bir çalışma yaptık, endeks okumasına yönelik. Bununla birlikte enerji dağıtım firmalarının operasyon maliyetlerini de ciddi oranda düşürüyoruz. Kırsalda olan özellikle elektrik sayaçlarının okunması büyük bir maliyet ve bazı riskler doğuruyor. Örneğin Ege Bölgesi'nde yapılan faaliyetlerde özellikle yaz aylarında gerek turizmde yoğunluktan dolayı gecikme gerek tarım faaliyetlerinde sayaç okumaya çalışan personelin yaralanması, arı sokması, köpek ısırması gibi birçok sorun oluyor. Bunları ortadan kaldıran bir çözüm sunuyoruz. Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde özellikle kayıp kaçağın tespiti ve önlenmesi konusunda destek veriyoruz. Dolayısıyla saha ziyaretlerini, yakıt sarfiyatını ve daha pek çok gerekliliği ortadan kaldırarak operasyonel maliyeti yüzde 50'ye kadar düşürüyoruz." Plan-S olarak bu yıl 5-9 Mayıs döneminde düzenlenecek SAHA EXPO'da yer alacaklarını vurgulayan Gümüşay, amaçlarının işbirlikleri geliştirmek için fırsat yakalamak olduğunu dile getirdi. Gümüşay, bunların dışında Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığının "Rekabet Öncesi İşbirliği Programı" kapsamında bir projeye de imza atacaklarına işaret ederek, "Başvurduğumuz ve yeni bir teknolojiye dayanan haberleşme uydu projesi kabul aldı ve sözleşmesini SAHA'da imzalayacağız. Onun dışında uydu platformu anlamında da büyük bir savunma sanayisi firmasıyla bir sözleşme imzalamayı hedefliyoruz." diye konuştu. Plan-S'in sadece bir uydu platformu değil, bir uydu platform ailesi olduğuna dikkati çeken Gümüşay, uydudan platforma, yörünge belirlemeden kontrol sistemlerine kadar uzayda geniş bir yelpazede yerli ve milli çözümler sunduklarını anlattı. Gümüşay, firmalara bu konuda her zaman destek vermeye hazır olduklarını ifade ederek, "Özellikle üniversitelerde uzayla ilgili iş fikirlerinde ya da teknoloji geliştirme programlarında, projelerinde onları uzaya taşıyan küp uyduları bizler yapabiliriz. Bu konuda hem yurt içi hem yurt dışında maliyet etkinlik ve hız anlamında oldukça rekabetçiyiz." ifadelerini kullandı.
