By KATHERINE LAWTON, SENIOR NEWS REPORTER Published: 20:11, 3 August 2026 | Updated: 20:11, 3 August 2026 A five-year-old girl who died after being found unresponsive in a body of water has been pictured.  Letti Cole was reported missing in the village of Badsey, Worcestershire, last Wednesday evening.  An air ambulance, paramedics and police officers later arrived at the scene, where Letti was pronounced dead.  West Mercia Police said no third party was involved and urged people not to speculate online about the 'tragic incident'.  Letti's aunt, Hayley Cole, has since set up a GoFundMe to help the devastated family set up a memorial for the 'precious girl'.  She wrote: 'On Wednesday evening, we lost our most precious angel in the most tragic circumstances. Our family is completely heartbroken, devastated, and still in shock. No family should ever have to go through such an unimaginable loss. 'The kindness, compassion, and support shown by the people of Badsey has restored my faith in humanity. I want to thank every single person who gave up their time and made every effort to help look for our beautiful Letti. Your love and support will never be forgotten. 'It was actually one of those kind people who suggested setting up a GoFundMe page to help create a memorial for Letti - a beautiful and thoughtful idea that means so much to us.'  Letti Cole died after being found unresponsive in a body of water in Worcestershire last week  The tragedy happened in Badsey, Worcestershire, last Wednesday (file picture) Ms Cole added: 'Please don't feel under any obligation to donate. Your love, prayers, and support have already meant the world to our family.  'However, if you would like to contribute, any donation, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and will help us create a special place to remember our precious girl.'  The fundraiser has so far received more than £7,000 from members of the public - the largest donation being £1,000 from Badsey Butchers, a local business in the area.  A police spokesperson said last Thursday: 'Sadly, the child was found unresponsive in a body of water, and a short time later was pronounced dead. 'There is no third-party involvement in the child's death, and a report will be prepared for the coroner. 'This is an incredibly tragic incident. We ask the public to avoid speculation online as this is incredibly distressing to the family, and we ask that their privacy is respected at such a difficult time.'
