Pensioner, 76, is charged after 'women were sexually assaulted at festival'

The 76-year-old man was arrested following the sex attack allegations that occurred at the Fringe by the Sea festival that has been taking place this month in North Berwick, East Lothian. The incidents and arrest took place at the town's Lodge Grounds at around 3pm on Friday August 7. The OAP is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'A 76-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with three sexual assaults which happened on Friday August 7, in the Lodge Grounds area of North Berwick. 'He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.'
