Pakistani X has a lot of ideas about what else JD Vance could get up to in Islamabad

United States Vice-President JD Vance arrived in Pakistan on Saturday to participate in the Islamabad Talks alongside an Iranian delegation led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and also including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

With his arrival poured in a tsunami of content on X, as Pakistanis did what they do best — share memes.

First, everyone was quite sure he’d need to head to get his degree attested at the HEC and we all know what an ordeal that is.

He’d soon realise the value of his dollars.

Which would lead to a shopping trip.

He may indulge in a quintessentially Pakistani pastime.

But that might introduce him to the bane of every Pakistani’s existence — e-challans!

And who can forget the other bane of our existence — PTA tax.

And of course, no trip to Pakistan would be complete without paying a visit to Nida Yasir’s morning show where he would be asked some hard-hitting questions, we’re sure.

He could line up some other appearances while in the country.

Though it isn’t all roses. He’d soon get an idea of what Pakistanis are suffering through when it comes to fuel prices.

We hope he didn’t forget multiple copies of his ID card.

Someone needs to tell him to ignore the scam messages.

We’re not sure how he could resist Islamabad’s beauty.

Even if he’d need to navigate some serious detours to appreciate it.

If there’s one thing we can be sure of, he’d have some good food. We aren’t sure how his stomach would fare after though.

While he’s in town, we’d have the best commentators on duty.

We also wonder this.

The Pakistani government needs to look into this asap.
