yaptığı paylaşımda, ABD ve İsrail'in İran'a saldırılarıyla başlayan savaşın taraflarının ateşkes konusunda anlaşmaya vardığını bildirmekten "memnuniyet duyduğunu" belirtti. "İran ile ABD ve müttefikleri" arasındaki 2 haftalık ateşkesin, Lübnan ve diğer bölgeleri de kapsadığını belirten Şerif, bu kararın "hemen yürürlüğe girdiğini" aktardı. Şerif, ateşkes kararını "sağduyulu bir adım" olarak tanımlarken, bu konuda ülkelerin liderlerine "en derin şükranlarını sunduğunu" kaydetti. Müzakereleri ilerletmek üzere ülkelerin heyetlerini 10 Nisan'da İslamabad'a davet eden Şerif, "Her iki taraf da olağanüstü bir sağduyu ve anlayış sergilemiş ve barış ile istikrarın sağlanması için yapıcı bir şekilde çaba göstermeye devam etmiştir.
