أكد وزير المالية، محمد الجدعان، أن اضطرابات سلاسل الإمداد الحالية الناتجة عن حرب إيران التي دخلت يومها السادس والعشرين، تتجاوز تداعيات ما بعد جائحة كورونا.

وحذر الجدعان، في مقابلة خلال مؤتمر مبادرة مستقبل الاستثمار المنعقد في ميامي بالولايات المتحدة، من أن استمرار الأزمة قد يقود إلى تداعيات أكثر حدة على الاقتصاد العالمي.

وفيما يتعلق بسلوك المستثمرين، نوه الجدعان إلى أنهم سيركزون على عناصر محددة، قائلاً: "المستثمرون يبحثون عن اليقين، والمرونة، وإمكانات النمو، وخطط طويلة الأجل والعوائد المعدلة حسب المخاطر"، مضيفاً أن الدول القادرة على جذب الاستثمارات، بما في ذلك المملكة العربية السعودية، هي التي تمتلك القدرة على التكيف مع الصدمات.
