وزير الخارجية يتلقى اتصالاً هاتفياً من نظيره الأردني ويبحثان الاستعدادات للاجتماع العربي–الأوروبي

تلقى وزير الخارجية السيد فؤاد حسين، يوم الأربعاء الموافق 3 حزيران 2026، اتصالاً هاتفياً من نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية السيد أيمن الصفدي.

وفي مستهل الاتصال، قدّم السيد الصفدي تهانيه للسيد فؤاد حسين بمناسبة تجديد الثقة به وتسلّمه مهام وزارة الخارجية لولاية جديدة، متمنياً له التوفيق والنجاح في أداء مهامه.

وبحث الجانبان الاستعدادات الجارية لعقد الاجتماع العربي–الأوروبي السادس خلال الفترة 22-23 حزيران 2026 المقرر انعقاده في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، بمشاركة وزراء خارجية الدول العربية والأوروبية، حيث جرى التأكيد على أهمية الاجتماع في تعزيز الحوار والتنسيق بين الجانبين إزاء القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

كما تناول الاتصال العلاقات الثنائية بين جمهورية العراق والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وسبل تطويرها وتعزيز آفاق التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.

FM Receives Call from Jordanian Counterpart; Discussing Preparations for the Arab–European Meeting

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, received a telephone call on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Mr. Ayman Al-Safadi.

At the outset of the call, H.E. Mr. Al-Safdi congratulated H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein on the renewal of confidence in him and his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, wishing him success in carrying out his responsibilities during the new term.

The two ministers discussed ongoing preparations for the Sixth Arab–European Meeting, scheduled to be held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on 22–23 June 2026, with the participation of Arab and European foreign ministers. They underscored the importance of the meeting in enhancing dialogue and coordination between the two sides on regional and international issues of common concern.

The call also addressed bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as ways to further develop and enhance prospects for cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.
