نقلت صحيفة "وول ستريت جورنال" عن مصادر مطلعة، اليوم الخميس، أنّ "مسؤولين إسرائيليين يعتقدون أنّ الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب قد يسعى قريباً إلى إنهاء الحرب في إيران، في ظل التطورات الميدانية والسياسية المتسارعة.

وبحسب مسؤولين عسكريين إسرائيليين، فإنّ "قدرات إيران العسكرية لا يمكن القضاء عليها بالكامل ضمن العملية الحالية، رغم الضربات المكثفة التي استهدفت مواقع مُتعدّدة".

وأشار المسؤولون إلى أنّ "قدرة طهران على تهديد إسرائيل أو المصالح الأميركية قد تراجعت بشكل ملحوظ"، معتبرين أنّ العملية العسكرية يمكن تصنيفها على أنّها "ناجحة" حتى في حال توقفت في الوقت الراهن.
