ALBAWABA - German armed forces, the "Bundeswehr," recently made headlines after locals noticed it began advertising for recruits on doner kebab wraps through Berlin food stands.
Customers grabbing a doner kebab across the country were surprised to notice that the wrap filled with doner, garlic sauce, and cabbage featured an unusual career path. According to Berlin Kurier, the wrap comes in camouflage and a message that reads, "One career with everything."
The wrap also features a QR code that links to the Bundeswehr's official website for recruiting soldiers nationwide. The Ministry of Defense stated that it is looking for potential candidates who spend their everyday lives "from social media to the train station, or the doner shop."
One career with everything? Doner kebab wrap recruits German military candidates

The statement adds, "With a wide range of advertising materials, we reach not only young people in the career orientation phase, but also career changers and skilled workers who want to change careers and can envision a future with the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). This portfolio also includes so-called ambient measures. The kebab bags fall under this category."
Wonder what the shop owners receive for advertising the campaign?
According to Berlin Kurier, citing the Ministry of Defense, "The snack bar owners voluntarily agree to the use and distribution of the provided advertising materials. The establishments receive the branded packaging free of charge."
This means that the owners who volunteer have saved over 30 euros since they do not need to purchase wraps online.
