Oklahoma State softball team bus involved in fatal crash, players safe

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Thursday that it received a call from a driver about a woman leaping in and out of traffic on I-35. Less than a minute later, it received a second call from another driver that a woman had been hit by a bus. She died of her injuries. Nobody on the bus was hurt in the crash, Oklahoma State said in a brief statement. The softball team was traveling for a game against Wichita State when the crash occurred. That game is postponed, and there are no details on when it will be played. The crash is under investigation. Police notified the woman’s next of kin around midnight Thursday, and will announce the victim’s name later this morning. Spot the pattern.
