Curtis Jones is officially a new Inter player after completing the transfer from Liverpool for €30m plus €5m add-ons and a sell-on clause, joining England teammates Djed Spence and John Stones.
He becomes the third member of the England squad at the 2026 World Cup to come to Inter this summer, following in the footsteps of free agent Stones and Tottenham Hotspur full-back Spence.
Jones wanted Inter for months

It took months of negotiations to make this deal stick, as Liverpool were unwilling to drop below the €40m asking price even though his contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
They eventually accepted the proposal worth €30m plus €5m in add-ons, and a percentage of the future sale fee.

Jones flew in last night from Liverpool and completed his medical tests today, putting pen to paper on a contract to June 2031.
He had already been a target from last year for the Nerazzurri, and an attempted January swoop had also been rebuffed.
Jones was one of the few ‘Scousers’ left in the Liverpool squad, as the 25-year-old spent his entire career with the Reds, coming up through their youth academy.
He has six senior caps for England, scoring one goal.
