Oasis 'set to play record-breaking six Knebworth shows and 12-night Etihad residency in 2027' after the Gallagher brothers' successful reunion tour

By KIRSTEN MURRAY, SENIOR SHOWBUSINESS REPORTER Published: 23:20, 7 July 2026 | Updated: 23:39, 7 July 2026 Oasis are reportedly set to hit the stage once again following their hugely successful reunion tour of 2025.  Liam and Noel Gallagher are said to be returning to their home city of Manchester for a 12-night residency at the Etihad Stadium as well as a record-breaking six nights at Knebworth.   The Gallagher brothers famously took to the stage at the Grade II country house in Hertfordshire in August 1996. And fans have been hoping to see them return to the venue after Liam, 53, and Noel, 59, finally buried their 16-year feud and reunited. An insider said: 'Oasis' schedule is booked. It's 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. 'They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that's the master plan.' But they've settled on August'.  The Daily Mail has contacted Oasis' representatives for comment.  Back in April there appeared to be signs pointing towards their Knebworth show after ticket site Premier Events listed Oasis shows at Knebworth Park for summer 2027. The post promised shows kicking off on Friday June 4 and ending on Sunday August 29. The site read: 'Oasis Live '27. Coming soon...' The site also posted a Q&A beneath a poster of Liam and Noel, anticipating what fans will want to know. One question read: 'Will Oasis be going on tour across the UK and Europe in 2027?' The site answered: 'Yes. Although not official, according to our sources, THIS IS HAPPENING!' An insider said: 'Oasis' schedule is booked. They answered: 'Dates have been rumoured for 2027, but not confirmed, with an iconic return to Knebworth and a Manchester Etihad Stadium homecoming both being considered.' On how much tickets will cost, the site answered: 'Until it's announced, we do not yet know a ballpark figure, but we will release our rates as soon as we have them.' Daily Mail has contacted representatives of Oasis for comment.  Liam previously fuelled the Knebworth rumours when he took to social media to tease how fans would be receiving Oasis news very soon. He wrote on X: 'BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IMMINENT', before more recently shutting down the idea. Music industry sources claimed the brothers had tentative dates for 2026 following their successful world tour, which is said to have generated up to £1.2billion. In November, Oasis announced they are embarking on a 'period of reflection' after their comeback tour came to an end. They wrote on Instagram: 'And so it came to pass.
