Clowns International, a U.K. organization for these performers that’s been around since the 1940s, has a unique way of recording many clowns’ distinct looks. It paints their faces on eggs to help prevent clowns from copying the looks of their peers.This is not a legal protection for a clown’s look and the organization has a more formal, written register. Still, this egg gallery is the most interesting clowns have ever been to me outside of horror movies.
