Nuggets' Aaron Gordon out for Game 3 against Timberwolves with calf injury

MINNEAPOLIS — Denver Nuggets starting power forward Aaron Gordon will miss Thursday’s Game 3 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves because of a left calf injury, coach David Adelman said.Gordon, the heart and soul of the Nuggets since arriving in Denver during the 2020-21 season, played 37 minutes in the Nuggets’ Game 2 loss Monday, and was on the floor at the end of the game. However, he appeared on the injury report with left calf tightness after the Nuggets practiced on Wednesday. He was listed as questionable Friday before being ruled out.Advertisement
