أكد رئيس وزراء إسرائيل بنيامين نتنياهو، يوم الخميس، استمرارهم بضرب أهداف إيرانية، لافتا إلى أن أغتيال قائد سلاح البحرية في الحرس الثوري الإيراني العميد علي رضا تنكسيري، تم بالتعاون مع الولايات المتحدة الأميركية.

وذكر نتنياهو، أن "قائد سلاح البحرية في الحرس الثوري الإيراني العميد علي رضا تنكسيري كان مسؤولاً عن إغلاق مضيق هرمز"، مشيراً إلى أنه "تم القضاء عليه خلال عملية نُفذت الليلة الماضية".

وأضاف أن "إسرائيل تواصل مهاجمة أهداف تابعة للنظام الإيراني بقوة"، كما اعتبر أن "تنكسيري تمثل دليلاً على مستوى التعاون مع الولايات المتحدة لتحقيق أهداف مشتركة".

وفي وقت سابق من اليوم..اغتيل العميد البحري علي رضا تنكسيري، قائد سلاح البحرية في الحرس الثوري الإيراني، بضربة جوية في مدينة بندر عباس جنوب إيران، فيما ذكرت وسائل إعلام عبرية أن "مقتله يمثل ضربة مهمة للقيادة العسكرية للحرس الثوري".
