Notre Dame shuffled every starting O-line spot this spring. It's more complex than you think

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame offensive line coach Joe Rudolph got a couple of assists two weeks into spring practice.One came from former All-America guard Quenton Nelson, who has been a Pro Bowler in each of his first eight NFL seasons. The other came from Alex Bars, who played both tackle and guard spots during his five-year Notre Dame career before four NFL seasons that included starts at center.Advertisement
