Deputies found multiple gunshot victims. One person was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. The agency, which is assisting with the investigation, said “there are multiple other fatalities.” The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol immediately responded to the shooting, the SBI said in a Facebook post. The identities of the victims and suspect have not been released as the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office notifies next of kin. SBI crime scene investigators are on scene processing evidence and conducting interviews.The agency said there is no threat to the general public, and the shooting was contained to the home.This is a developing story.
