No weapons surrender: Hamas sends strong warning to Israel

ALBAWABA - The Al-Qassam Brigades' spokesperson, Abu Obeida, stated in a televised statement that the group would not accept any offers to give up its weapons, characterizing such requests as an effort to undermine Palestinian resistance.

He warned that further pressure through mediation attempts has significant dangers and emphasized that Hamas would not give up politically what it had not lost militarily. Before proceeding, the organization urged mediators to make sure Israel complies with its commitments under the first phase of the truce.

Recent discussions with Egyptian and Turkish authorities, according to a Hamas official who spoke to Agence France-Presse, were on resolving alleged infractions and advocating for full fulfillment of existing agreements.

Additionally, Abu Obeida cautioned against taking any action against Palestinian captives or the Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that doing so may lead to greater violence. He called on Palestinians and their allies throughout the world to organize in favor of these causes.
