By ASHLEY NICKEL, NEWS REPORTER, AUSTRALIA Published: 15:24, 8 June 2026 | Updated: 15:24, 8 June 2026 Labor is on track for a wipeout in Victoria according to a new poll, with even Labor voters calling for the party to give Premier Jacinta Allan the boot. A Freshwater Strategy poll surveyed 1,034 voters between Friday and Monday and found the majority of Victorian voters want Jacinta Allan ousted from her position as premier in the upcoming state election. That majority includes 39 per cent of Labor voters. The results are expected to speed up internal Labor discussions of replacing Allan as party leader with Deputy Premier Ben Carroll, the Herald Sun reported. Primary support for Labor fell four points to 23 per cent, while the Coalition's dropped three points to 27 per cent. One Nation's primary vote increased five points to 25 per cent.  The poll had Allan's personal net approval rating dropping five points to -37. The blow for the Premier follows a controversy over a campaign calling for Victorians to 'ditch the witch' that was funded by Melbourne businesses. A new poll found the majority of Victorian voters, including 39 per cent of Labor supporters, want Jacinta Allan (above) booted from leadership of the Labor party The devastating blow for Allan comes amid a campaign calling for Victorians to 'ditch the witch' at the state election in November Vans displaying billboards which show Allan dressed as a witch have circulated around the Melbourne CBD for about a month and have been partly funded by adult nightspot Gotham City.  On Sunday, Allan herself condemned the campaign in a statement, calling the messaging sexist and unacceptable. The ads portray the Victorian Premier as a witch and feature the slogan 'ditch the witch,' echoing rhetoric previously used against Gillard. 'Sexism just has no place in our political debate, full stop,' Allan said. 'A billboard truck using sexist language has been driving around Melbourne as part of a secret and well-funded political campaign. People are entitled to disagree with me, that's democracy. But I care that this attacks women. And I care about who's next.' However, One Nation leader Pauline Hanson on Monday issued some harsh advice to Allan: 'Suck it up, sweetheart.' 'If you've seen what's happened to me over the years, I remember years ago, (former Nationals leader) Tim Fischer called me a witch and said I should be burned at the stake,' Ms Hanson told Sky News. 'So I've been tagged that long before you … Besides, Jacinta, I've heard on the grapevine - you won't be there in a couple of weeks. Pauline Hanson (above) on Monday responded to Allan's complaints about the 'witch' campaign by saying, 'Suck it up, sweetheart' 'Don't worry about the billboard anymore… it'll be blank because you won't have your photo up there. You'll be gone.' An incredible 62 per cent of those surveyed believed Allan should be replaced before the state election in November. Just 53 per cent of Labor voters called for her to remain Premier.  A total of 29 per cent of those surveyed said they would be more likely to back Labor at the election if Allan wasn't party leader. 'A clear majority of voters now say it is time for Labor to change leader,' Head of research at Freshwater Strategy, Jordan Meyers, said. 'The complication for Labor is that changing leader is no quick fix. 'Ben Carroll may be the preferred contender, but he, like the other options waiting in the wings, is relatively unknown among Victorians.' No comments have so far been submitted.
