New details emerge of the night socialite is alleged to have SPIKED the drink of a property developer's daughter at luxury ski resort: 'Cold and clammy'

By WAYNE FLOWER, SENIOR NEWS REPORTER, AUSTRALIA Published: 03:35, 15 May 2026 | Updated: 03:35, 15 May 2026 Paramedics were urgently called to a luxury family-owned ski resort on Mount Buller after a Melbourne socialite was the alleged victim of a drink-spiking attack.   An ambulance raced to the award-winning Hotel Pension Grimus in the early hours of July 27 last year after Melissa Jreissati, 33, reportedly suffered 'heart problems' and was left 'clammy' with 'cold sweats'. Ms Jreissati is a marketing director for prestigious winery Levantine Hill and the daughter of one of Melbourne's richest property developers.  The alleged incident happened at 11.49pm on July 26, 2025, at the luxe ski slope resort, a favourite winter playground for Melbourne's rich and glamorous. Police allege Brighton socialite Amy Tossoun, 33, co-founder of Richmond Dentist, spiked Ms Jreissati's drink with drugs during a gathering for a mutual friend's birthday. Tossoun now faces charges including possession of amphetamines and introducing a drug of dependence into another person's body, which carry a maximum five-year jail sentence if convicted. Ambulance Victoria declined to reveal details of the incident when contacted by Daily Mail on Friday. 'As the people involved in this have been identified, we will be unable to provide any details,' the spokesperson said.  Police allege that Amy Tossoun (pictured) spiked a woman's drink and was found with amphetamines  The alleged victim is the daughter of Dr Elias Jreissati, chairman of the Jreissati Group property developers. The wealthy family recently relisted a sub-penthouse in Melbourne's iconic Eureka Tower for just under $13million. Tossoun, meanwhile, is no stranger to the spotlight. The mother-of-three, who mixes in VIP circles with a glamorous entourage of stylish friends, has been tipped as a potential new star for the reboot of The Real Housewives of Melbourne.  She was pictured at Mt Buller before the allegations surfaced. A spokesperson for Tossoun issued a brief statement last week declaring she was 'taking this matter extremely seriously' and had brought in lawyers.  'Now that the matter is before the court, she will not be making any further comment,' he told the Herald Sun.  Victoria Police confirmed the incident 'at a licensed premises on Mt Buller', describing the charges against the Brighton woman without naming either party. Mt Buller has been the scene of several controversies in the past, with numerous scandals rocking the winter playground for Melbourne's elite. In 2016, a staff weekend trip by employees of recruitment firm Michael Page turned into a PR disaster when a group of about 22 staff allegedly trashed the Reindeer Ski Lodge, engaged in heavy drinking, verbal abuse and alcohol-fuelled violence.
