Korda finished 17 under par with a four-day score of 271 at the El Camaleón Golf Course at Mayakoba in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Thailand’s Arpichaya Yubol was second with a 275 and China’s Yu Liu claimed third place with a 276. In her first six tournaments of 2026, Korda has three victories and has not finished outside of the top two on the leaderboard. “I’m just enjoying myself, and I love the competition, and I love traveling to places like Mexico all over the world, and I’m just having fun,” Korda told CBS after her victory. “Everyone out here puts in the work, and sometimes it works out. I’m just grateful that I have an amazing team, that no matter through the ups and downs, we’ve all stayed the same.” Sunday’s title adds to an incredible start to the season for the 27-year-old from Bradenton, Fla. Her dominance this year is reminiscent of her start to the 2024 season, when at one point she won five tournaments in a row, including the Chevron Championship. In 2025, however, Korda’s momentum stalled. She did not win a tournament, despite posting 10 top-10 finishes. Korda’s win last week returned her to the No. 1 spot in the world, ending Jeeno Thitikul’s 8-month-long stint atop women’s golf. With Sunday’s victory, Korda increased her lead in the Race to CME Globe standings, boosting her point total to 2,565. South Korea’s Kim Hyo Joo is a distant second with 1,483. Korda has spent more than 100 weeks in the No. 1 spot during her career. Spot the pattern. Connect the terms Find the hidden link between sports terms
