The North Yorkshire man matched all five main numbers and the Thunderball in the draw on April 14, taking home the jackpot from a ticket he purchased with spare change alongside his usual Lotto entry.

The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, said he plans to pay off his mortgage and use the remaining winnings to enjoy life to the fullest.

A South Yorkshire couple also scooped £1million in the National Lottery Lotto draw on May 20, matching five main numbers and the bonus ball.
The pair have already booked a holiday and said they would take time to consider their options for the future.
Abbie Suddick, Winners' Adviser at Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, said: "Yorkshire is definitely the luckiest place to be right now - congratulations to both our winners."
The good news from Yorkshire comes as a separate lottery prize worth a whopping £12million remains unclaimed more than two weeks after the draw, with the unknowing ticket holder being urged to come forward.
The winning Lotto jackpot ticket was purchased somewhere in Rhondda Cynon Taf in south east Wales ahead of the June 6 draw, with all six main numbers successfully matched: 08, 10, 26, 30, 35 and 42.
National Lottery operator Allwyn is now appealing to players across the Welsh valleys to check their tickets carefully.
The mystery winner has until December 3 to come forward and collect their prize, giving them a five-month window to present what could be a life-altering slip of paper.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, described the unclaimed jackpot as "an incredible win for one lucky Lotto ticket-holder".
He urged anyone who bought a ticket in the area around that date to check whether they could be sitting on a fortune.
Mr Carter said: "Think back to if this could be you, as we want nothing more than to unite the winner with their prize money.
“Imagine this sum of money in your bank account and how it could change not only your life but that of your friends, family and charities or good causes close to your heart."
He added: "This is a massive win and we can't wait to unite the lucky ticket-holder with their Lotto Jackpot prize."
