The series would be based on the book of the same name by by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. Amy Chozick (“House of Cards,” “The Girls on the Bus”) and Jenny Bicks (“Sex and the City,” “The Greatest Showman”) serve as writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners. Scarlett Johannson, who starred in the film adaptation of the book in 2007, will executive produce under her These Pictures banner alongside Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn.
