A mum has shared how an easy-to-use app is saving her hundreds of pounds on her groceries and other shopping. She uses the cashback app when shopping at chains such as Morrisons and Argos. The app is available at all big-name UK supermarkets . Swinny Coutinho from Fleetwood in Lancashire uses free app tuck. to get cashback on her weekly shop and on big purchases. She said: "It's so simple – you’re earning money on things you’d buy anyway." She earns around £3 to £5 a week on her shopping, and has earned around £500 through the scheme to date. The 40-year-old lives with her husband two young sons, and has built up the habit of savings small amounts on her everyday shopping. The savvy shopper said: "I'm always on the lookout for bargains, whether it’s cashback, surveys or scanning receipts. I genuinely enjoy saving money while I spend." She previously tried using other cashback websites to save on her shopping, but they were not as convenient. She said: "They were mostly online-only, easy to forget about, and the cashback could take ages to come through – sometimes with fees taken off. Tuck is much simpler. There are no charges and the cashback is instant, so it's the one I use all the time now.” Swinny now uses the app as part of her weekly routine, typically spending between £100 and £150 on groceries, clothing and general household items, earning between £3 and £5 in cashback each. She has also used the app for bigger purchases, such as spending more than £800 on phones and garden items. She accumulated around £350 in cashback savings for the family budget over the course of the year. The mum said: "It's become part of my normal routine whenever I shop – online or in-store. It’s just so easy to use. It also makes you more aware of where you’re spending and how to get better value. It’s those small amounts that really add up over time. "It doesn’t require much effort, but you're still earning cashback on purchases you were going to make anyway, and then at times when spending increases, like at Christmas , the cashback feels like a little bonus coming back to you." She builds up the cashback towards larger goals rather than using it straight away. Last year, the family used their cashback earnings towards a holiday in Dubai, and this year they plan to use the savings towards their mortgage. She has been urging her friends to sign up for the app telling them it's "such an easy way to save". Neel Thakrar, CEO of tuck., said: "Swinny's story shows how small, consistent savings can build into something meaningful over time. She hasn't changed her lifestyle or spending habits – she’s simply made cashback part of her everyday routine. "For busy families, those everyday costs can quickly add up. Being able to earn money back on that spending, little and often, can make a real difference – whether it’s helping with big purchases, holidays or long-term financial goals."
