MPX will be presenting the female-driven chiller to buyers at the upcoming Cannes Marché du Film. “Swipe” is the second feature by actor-director Whalen, whose acting credits include “Twister.” Whalen previously directed the well-received horror film “Crust,” about a lonely laundromat owner who keeps leftover socks from customers, which is playing on major streaming platforms in the U.S. and currently has a 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
